About Me
Bailey Borders is a visual artist based, born, and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in studio arts at Austin Peay State University. She has had her art exhibited in the 2024, 56th Juried Student Exhibition at APSU for which she received the Juror’s Recognition Award alongside the Faculty Choice Award.
Borders’ work centers on the beauty of life with a focus on the body, play and childhood. Her work features various media including sculpture, drawing, and painting. Her current artistic inspirations are children’s educational programs from the seventies such as Schoolhouse Rock, Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, Sesame Street, and The Electric Company.
